Book Translated by Subhag Swami Maharaj

Ananda Vrindavan Campu

Sri Kavi Karnapura

This is the only English edition of Sri Kavi Karnapura's medieval Sanskrit poetic masterpiece describing Bhagavan Sri Krishna's beautiful pastimes in Sri Vrndavana Dhama. The book is filled with unexcelled charm and rich metaphorical language because the author was uniquely blessed by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in Jagannatha Puri. As a baby, the author once crawled across floor of Mahaprabhu's room and sucked on the Lord's toe. Thus directly empowered by the Sri Chaitanya, the author wrote one of the greatest classics of Gaudiya Vaisnava literature. Ananda Vrindavana Campu opens up the paintings of Sri Krishna's divine play to clearly reveal just how the Lord feels and what His associates are talking about.
